Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile games published by BizzyBee Games, referred to below as "we," "us," or "our." By playing our games you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Display name — a username you choose within the game, used for leaderboards and leagues. No real name is required.

Information collected automatically

Anonymous player ID — a randomly generated identifier assigned by Unity Gaming Services when you first launch the game. It is not linked to any account or personal identity.
Gameplay data — levels completed, in-game resources and scores, league placement, session length, and similar progress metrics.
Device and technical data — device type, operating system version, app version, and general locale/region. This is collected by our analytics and ad partners (see Section 4).
Advertising identifiers — your device's resettable advertising ID (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS), used by our ad partner to serve and measure ads. You can reset or opt out of this at any time in your device settings.
Purchase receipts — when you make an in-app purchase the transaction is processed and validated by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase; we do not store your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide and operate the game, including syncing your display name and scores to global leaderboards.
Understand how players engage with the game so we can improve it (analytics).
Show advertisements to support the free version of the game.
Deliver local push notifications you have opted into (e.g., daily puzzle reminders). These are scheduled on your device — no personal data is sent to a server to trigger them.
Verify and fulfill in-app purchases.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Game progress (completed levels, resources, settings) is saved locally in your device's app storage as JSON files. This data never leaves your device unless you uninstall the app, at which point it is deleted automatically.

4. Third-Party Services

Our games integrate the following third-party SDKs. Each has its own privacy policy; links are provided below. These services may collect data independently under their own terms.

5. Advertising and Opt-Out

Our free games display ads served through Appodeal. Ads may be personalised based on your advertising ID and device information. You can opt out of interest-based advertising at any time:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalisation."
iOS 14.5+: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."

Opting out does not remove ads; it limits ad personalisation.

6. Push Notifications

We may ask permission to send local notifications (e.g., "Your daily puzzle is ready"). These are scheduled entirely on your device — no personal data is transmitted to our servers to trigger them. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Our games are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our games, please contact us at support@bizzybeegames.com and we will promptly delete it.

If a game is designated as a "Designed for Families" app on Google Play, it will comply with the Google Play Families Policy and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which may include limiting or disabling ad personalisation for those users.

8. Data Retention

Local save data — retained on your device until you uninstall the app.
Unity Gaming Services data — retained according to Unity's data retention policy. Anonymous accounts with no activity may be purged after an extended period of inactivity.
Analytics data (Amplitude) — retained per Amplitude's retention settings configured for our project, typically no longer than required for the original analytical purpose.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights over your personal data, including:

Access — request a copy of data we hold about you.
Deletion — request that data be deleted.
Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected.
Portability — request data in a machine-readable format.
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Because we primarily collect anonymous IDs rather than personal information, we may not always be able to identify or retrieve records linked to a specific individual without additional information from you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@bizzybeegames.com.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. For requests, contact us at the email above.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data we store and transmit. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our games after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
